The Turf Pusher Saves the Day
This past winter was record-breaking for many New England communities. Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI was no exception and had to deal with significant snowfall including accumulation from Blizzard Juno, which swept through the area at the end of January. Normally snow fall of this magnitude would cancel practices and other outdoor activities. Fortunately, the College had purchased a Turf Pusher, which allowed them to keep their fields clear and open. Here is some feedback Pro-Tech received after the storm:
“Two days after Juno, Blizzard of 2015, our turf field was cleared of over a foot of snow and we were able to practice outside. I would imagine not too many Colleges/Universities around New England were able to that, giving us an advantage over our competition…all thanks to the Turf Pusher and our excellent Facilities Department.” Michael Gallagher-Assistant Director of Athletics, Roger Williams University
