Pro-Tech Attends the Sport Turf Managers Association Exhibition

FORT WORTH, TX (January 21, 2018) – The Sports Turf Managers Association Conference and Exhibition was held this week at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX. The annual event draws turf and sports field professionals from around North America and focuses on continuing education and showcasing some of the latest innovations within the industry. For the fourth year in a row, Pro-Tech Manufacturing and Distribution, Inc. exhibited, displaying the Turf Pusher, a snow plow designed for clearing snow from sports fields.
With the abnormally cold temperatures in the area the exhibiting team from Pro-Tech felt right at home, often having conversations with attendees about the snowfall in their area. A number of visitors from southern states commented on the significant snowfall their communities have seen this winter. Recently Atlanta, Georgia saw up to a foot of snow and the city of Charleston, SC completely closed down after receiving 6 inches of snow.
With many areas of the country seeing snow this winter, traffic was busy at the Pro-Tech booth.
“We have been very busy at the show this year”, said Pro-Tech Marketing Director Jered Shuknecht. “It’s been great to talk to not only potential customers but also current customers who really love the Turf Pusher and how it has helped keep their fields open during the winter.”
The Pro-Tech Turf Pusher, which was brought to market in 2014 has become very popular among sports teams at the professional, collegiate, and high school level. Some of the biggest advocates at the high school and collegiate level are athletes who sometimes are asked to shovel snow from the playing field before a game or practice.
The Turf Pusher is different than other snowplows in that the edge is constructed of a rounded tube, which glides over the playing surface. A new feature of the Turf Pusher is a pin-on coupler, which allows customers to easily swap connection types if using different prime movers. Pro-Tech offers over 14 connection variations for skid steers, tractors, and UTV’s.
Pro-Tech has committed to exhibiting at next year’s Sports Turf Managers Association Conference and Exhibition, which will be held in Phoenix, AZ.
