Pro-Tech and Western Products Raise Big Money For Veterans
Highlights
- Pro-Tech and Western Products teamed up to hold a live auction at the 2018 SIMA Snow & Ice Symposium Trade Show on June 29th at the Huntington (Cleveland) Convention Center
- Proceeds went to benefit Camp Hometown Heroes (Western) and Veterans Outreach Center (Pro-Tech)
- People attending the trade show had the opportunity to bid on a Pro-Tech Rubber Edge Sno Pusher and WESTERN® WIDE-OUT™ snowplow
- Together the companies raised more than $13k for veterans and their families
ROCHESTER, NY (June 29, 2018) – Today, Pro-Tech Manufacturing and Distribution, Inc. and Western Products teamed up to raise money for two charities that provide services for veterans and their families.
Camp Hometown Heroes is a national, free, week-long overnight summer camp for children and siblings between the ages of seven to seventeen of fallen U.S. service members.
The Veterans Outreach Center provides comprehensive resources to current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families through direct service, community collaboration and advocacy.
Money for the charities was raised through a live auction that was held at the 2018 SIMA Snow and Ice Symposium being held at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The Symposium is the largest snow and ice trade show and conference held annually in North America.
Pro-Tech auctioned an 8’ Rubber Edge Sno Pusher that raised a total of $3,600 for Veterans Outreach and Western Products auctioned a WESTERN® WIDE-OUT™ snowplow that raised a total of $9,500 for Camp Hometown Heroes. Both snowplow featured custom designs that paid tribute to the branches of the United States military.
“We really enjoyed partnering with Western Products for such a great cause,” said Pro-Tech marketing director Jered Shuknecht. “It’s the least we can do for the individuals and families who sacrifice so much for our freedoms.”
